Not to state the obvious, but it’s true. I’m inserting this post more than a week after my car accident to explain my lack of content.
Short version is the guy behind me on the interstate slammed into my car when he was going too fast for conditions. My car spun and spun and had multiple impacts. It is totaled.
I am lucky to have walked away.
Having a concussion has been the most frustrating thing. I’ve not been allowed to drive, and it hurts to read or think.
I managed to post about this ever so briefly on my Instagram account. Sometimes when my head hurts too much to do things here, I’ll post a shorter version there.

Please stay safe and drive appropriately for road conditions. And WEAR YOUR SEATBELT! My sweet daughter lost a friend this week who was not wearing her seatbelt in the accident she was in. This has been a hard week.
We are counting our blessings. Things could have been so much worse.
